Recruitment is a three-week long process that takes place at the beginning of each semester. After a mixture of social and professional events, potential new members will conduct an interview before a decision is made about whether or not they will be accepted into the pledge process.

Pledging for DSP begins directly after the end of recruitment. The pledging process takes eight weeks and introduces each prospective member to our professional fraternity. Our brothers help nourish the professional growth of each new pledge by inviting them to our chapters’ semiannual professional trips, conducting resume workshops, and helping to introduce them to different companies at our private career fairs. Pledges learn about the national fraternity and its values by taking five quizzes during their pledge semester, as well as fostering group relationships by organizing their own pledge-led professional, service, and brotherhood events.
